A choral service accompanied the ceremony. The bodice, was of Honiton lace; veiled with pale pink ninon. The pointed train was caught with orange blossom and seed pearl tassels. A handsome Limerick lace veil (made by her mother) was worn, and a sheaf of pink and white flowers in, a quaint silver holder (a century old) carried. The bridesmaids were Miss Madge Suon (Ballarat) and Miss Doris Brown (Adelaide). They wore pretty pink crepe de chine frocks, with short tunics of pink marquisette, edged with fairy roses. Pink tulle .veils, wreathed with pink roses, were worn, and sheafs of pink and white wattle veiled with tulle, carried. Little Wanda Woolcott (cousin of the bride), who acted as train-bearer, was attired in a similar costume to the bridesmaids.
